The musical hub of Malta set to host a summer of global superstars
Lost & Found, a four-day extravaganza, will be punctuated by electronic music, castles raves, boat parties, and cocktails. World renowned DJ Annie Mac will be hosting the festival from the 13th to the 16th April against a backdrop of chilled island life.
Following previous years, which saw tickets sell out in a matter of days, the spring festival will welcome top artists in the electronic music scene. Disclosure, Mark Ronson, grime and hip-hop giant Stormzy, and Annie herself will be playing sets in the Mediterranean paradise of one of European’s cultural and musical hubs.
Looking ahead to June, The Isle of MTV Malta Music Festival will also be returning to the island for the 11th year, with a collection of breakthrough acts and global superstars.
This week the summer festival announced that The Chainsmokers will be headlining the summer festival. The Grammy winning American DJ duo are widely regarded across the music industry as one of the breakout acts of 2016. The multiplatinum selling act will perform the closing set featuring hit songs such as ‘Closer’ and “#Selfie” under the stars on Tuesday 27th June.
Already a must-visit destination, Malta encompasses fascinating history and heritage, delicious food, and picturesque landscapes. Now heralded as one of the musical hubs of Europe and with two of the continent’s hottest music festivals, the Mediterranean island is a fusion of traditional and contemporary culture in an island paradise setting.
